At De La Salle Castletown Retreats, we offer a safe and sacred space where young people can feel comfortable being themselves. Students are encouraged to believe in their own worth as children of God – a God who loves them unconditionally. We offer young people a prayerful experience through a variety of activities that encourage them to explore their relationship with God. The Retreat Centre is in the beautiful village of Castletown, Co. Laois, set on the River Nore.

I would like to warmly welcome you to the website of De La Salle Pastoral Centre, Castletown.
We have a long history of providing school retreats, under the auspices of the De La Salle Brothers, and we strive to create an oasis of welcome, acceptance and calm. The spacious pastoral centre is complemented by extensive grounds, and together these enhance the retreat experience. Our experienced retreat team love working with young people and we follow in the footsteps of St John Baptist De La Salle, with his observation that ‘to touch the hearts of your students and inspire them with the Christian Spirit is the greatest miracle you can perform’.
